Well Halloween is put away and we are starting to put up our Christmas Display. It's been good so far but a lot of work. All the items that require ground mounts are in B-4 ground froze up so happy there.
We are still building items indoors and out. I Want to say Thanks to those that stopped in to see the Halloween Display some travelling a good distance. And to those that have popped over in the last few days to tell us how much you enjoyed our little display and are looking forward to see what we are doing for Christmas. Thank you. (L.O.L) Halloween was a roaring success, Considering the lousy weather conditions and its the first show of this level for us.
We Tripled the amount of Trick or Treaters from previous years, but not the 200 plus I was hoping for. Next year for sure.. Now take down time hopefully have it all down by Sunday, and on to Christmas, We have a ton of work we need to get done. And a lot of other projects on the go also. Hang with us as we loose our minds!!!!!!!! Andy HALLOWEEN Show it up and running, we are continually fine tuning right now, but things have been running smoothly. Quite a few have stopped over to see it, watch, and word is getting around.
I want to Thank the neighbours on Lawton Ave, Everyone has been very supportive. And Excited! We look forward to providing some good old fun for you and your families. Andy L.O.L. Sorry, pretty bad at the Blog thing,
Lots going on, Weather up until now has been in our favour, but now its gone to heck. and has slowed us down. been ahead or ourselves any ways. We have been building props and have started some set up. Ghosts are built, Heckel and Jeckel are getting some fan mail, and we started technical testing on the Great Pumpkin. Getting pretty excited now, and we are really hopping y So my son and I, started on the Great Pumpkin. A lot of work to build this bad boy, 8 ft tall 1700 light bulbs. But its going to look great when its done, should have it finished Monday night. Will post pics.
Flying Ghost is done. Finished sequencing the music and lighting. We now have 2 more major props to finish up and We can start putting stuff out after the Canadian Thanksgiving. Its a ton of work but hopefully worth it. We get maybe 30 kids on average as the street has matured. We plan to change this this year looking for a couple hundred. Ti Been a while, Lots going on.
We are doing a wedding on the 17th, Have to light tree's, an Arch, and a 10ft x 20ft programmed wall of light. We will be using almost 5000 bulbs and 16 computer channels to accomplish this. Will get some pics up afterwards. Don't want to spoil the surprise as its my son's wedding. Soon as the guests are gone, we start working on the Halloween project, and start building Christmas effects. We will post pics of this also as we progress. Thanks To Those that are checking in to see where we are at.
